Description

This piece is visually demonstrative of how I experience the world through emotions. The colors are very vivid, as intense as the highs and lows that result from being emotionally hypersensitive. The amount of energy exuding from the piece itself shows which end of the spectrum I was at while creating it.
Its sequel is "Hypersensitivity"

This is my 15th deviation for the 100 Theme Challenge. ([link]) ...The theme for this piece is "Change"--Variation 4, Theme 4. I gave this the theme of "Change" because it looks to me like an underwater cave-like playplace where the walls are temperature-sensitive and the water is colder as you travel further from the viewing point. Far-fetched, I know. But that's what I see! What do you see?

Ok so here's my opinion.

I simply having nothing remotely critical to say about this. To me, there is absolutely nothing that could be improved upon.

I find it to be a very powerful image for a few reasons. The obvious immediate visual power and the use of vibrant colour, the flow of the design being a perfect representation of the flow of emotion, not only within yourself and what guided you to create and express this, but also the emotional response it evokes in the appreciator, even subconsciously, and perhaps especially subconsciously. It certainly evokes an emotional response in me, proved by the fact that I can't stop looking at it. I keep getting drawn back to this particular image from the whole of your gallery.

Another aspect is that this piece is a direct line to the emotions because of the seven sequential chakra colours that flow into each other and move through the base to the crown. There is great healing here I feel, and I literally do feel it's calming, aligning qualities. Your use of the medium is spot on too. I can't imagine this piece working quite so powerfully in another medium. The softness of the medium is perfect and totally compliments the intended flow.

To me, this epitomises "art as healing" which is surely two-way. In other words, we're all benefiting from how you're expressing yourself. You're providing a great service . It epitomises it, because in all honesty I've never seen anything like this in my life. Think I may be exaggerating? I'm really not. This is the kind of thing that would stop you in your tracks, much like a piece of music or..well, anything that would stop you in your tracks really. There is a certain vibration to this and all I can say is that it affects me very positively (well no shit lol).

Emotion = energy in motion and you've definitely nailed that here.

You're very talented, courageous and honest and you just picked up another watcher, as in, me

Wishing you the absolute best for all your artistic aspirations.

Shine always and all ways
