This piece is filled with symbolism. The red in the red-violet represents love. The green in the green-blue represents life. The blue in the green-blue represents peace. The rose represents both love and life, while the peace sign speaks for itself. I'm at a place in life where I'm filled with peace, contentment, love, and a love of life itself. It only felt natural to get all those emotions out on paper.
This was created for Psychedelia-Club's ([link]) peace sign contest.
This is also my 20th deviation for the 100 Theme Challenge. ([link]) ...The theme for this piece is "Love"--Variation 1, Theme 2.
The peace sign is unfortunately more hidden than I intended it to be! If you were to draw lines separating all the teal sections from the purple sections, you would have the peace sign.
Ah, okay...I'll go take another look...thanks for that But that's kind of cool that it's hidden and you have to go search for it It makes you look even harder at the painting
