If you haven't been able to tell by my submitted deviations lately, I'm going through a depressive episode. Well, it looks like you won't be seeing any more depressing art from me for awhile. See, when I focus on the pain, it just makes it worse. My therapist thinks that doing this art is actually serving to help the depression grow rather than to help me get better. Sometimes, expressive art therapy can be beneficial; but right now, my emotions come on so fast and so strong that I feel totally out of control and helpless to practice any coping techniques. So I just uploaded my 100th deviation! I want to be all excited about it, but it's a bit tough to celebrate when said deviation is: :thumb341289447: ...see, this piece is all about losing control as depression sucks you in.
